About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Journal of Economics Finance and International Business (J. econ. financ. int. bus.) is a publication of the Universidad de San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL). Based on the respect of quality standards, the journal aims to publish the research and work developed in all fields of economics, financial and business sciences at the international level.

Peer Review Process

Double blind: the reviewers do not know the identity of the authors of the articles, and the authors do not know the identity of the reviewers, during the review process.

Publication Frequency

Journal of Economics Finance and International Business maintains an annual periodicity, that is, it publishes 1 issue per year in December.

Article Processing Charge (APCs)

The journal does not make any charge for the submission, processing, evaluation and publication (article processing charge - APC) of the manuscripts submitted by the authors.

Code of ethics

Journal of Economics Finance & International Business as an international journal of excellence is inspired by the publication ethics code prepared by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) aimed at editors, authors and reviewers, where standards are established and guidelines for best publication practices are provided.

Anti-plagiarism tool

The journal uses a computer program (Turnitin) to detect the level of originality and authenticity of the received manuscripts, which are analyzed before being sent to the peer reviewers, as part of the first editorial filter.

Digital preservation

The management system used is the Open Journal system - OJS, this supports the LOCKSS system (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to ensure security and permanent preservation of your journal.
