Purposes and Representations, a magazine edited by the San Ignacio de Loyola University - USIL (Lima, Peru), published its first printed issue in 2013, under the direction of the Vice-Rector for Research.
In 2015 it began to publish in digital format, through its web platform developed in the Open Journal System (OJS); In 2019, the periodicity changes: from semiannual to quarterly.
In April 2021, he assumed his editorial direction, the Psychology Programme, at that time part of the Faculty of Humanities. And since January 2022, forming the USIL Faculty of Health Sciences.
From 2024, it changes from quarterly to continuous publication, with the aim of ensuring immediacy for the dissemination of scientific information, increasing the visibility of research and providing greater efficiency in the flow of editorial processes.
