El argumento central del libro es que estamos sometiendo la infancia mediante el patrón de lo Hiper, el cual se manifiesta en niveles muy altos de actividad, sexualización y uso excesivo de dispositivos electrónicos. Por otra parte, la exposición a estímulos y experiencias sin límites, también se ha convertido en una característica habitual en la infancia actual.
